Build a digital clock on breadboards!

This is a classic digital electronics project that serves as a good intermediate introduction to digital electronics. The kit includes all of the components used in my series of videos where I build this distinctive breadboard clock.

This project can be built in a weekend or two, and you end up with an accurate clock you can use every day. The kit includes the parts to build it as a 12-hour clock or a 24-hour clock.

The clock uses the AC line frequency from your power utility to keep time. The kit includes the parts to work with 60 hertz power or 50 hertz power. However you will need to select either the 120 volt AC adapter or 240 volt AC adapter when ordering. Be sure to select the correct adapter for your location. The 120-volt adapter has a US-style plug. The 240-volt adapter has an EU-style plug. You may need to provide a plug adapter for other locations, but be sure to select the correct voltage.
